Are you a young person (age 20-40) in the southern midcoast Maine region who is committed to making our community a better place to live, work and play? If so, Ascend is a great place to start! Ascend was born in July 2007 when a group of local young leaders came together with the goal of making our local community a more fulfilling place for young people. An affiliate of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce and Maine Development Foundation's REALIZE!Maine, Ascend will focus mainly on creating and improving members' social interaction, community involvement and professional development within the region.
